While I love getting out into nature for maternity shoots— sometimes the weather doesn’t allow. We shot this beautiful maternity session during the polar vortex. It’s funny how baby’s schedules don’t always cooperate with yours, right? Mama and I went more minimalist for her maternity session and created these beautiful and classic images. We can get stunning shots not matter the weather!
I've always wanted to be a fashion photographer. I can remember watching Fashion TV as a little girl in the early 90's. I was just entranced by the photoshoots, the amazing clothing, and the eccentric fashion designers and often kooky photographers. Go figure I'd be the kooky part of the arrangement, I doubt anyone is surprised there. I was ecstatic when the chance to work with a modeling agency presented itself. I'm hoping this is one of the first of many fashion shoots in 2018 that I am able to style and photograph. Between the beautiful model, Rachel Bowers, and my amazing makeup artist, Becci Jahn, I'm so pleased with this collaboration. I have two more sets from this shoot I'll be sharing, as well as a behind the scenes video. So keep your eyes peeled, and check back often!
